This new state of the art Theatre will be home to many professional and amateur cultural productions, film screenings, theatrical plays, concerts, dance recitals and other performances.

2011 Barrie Arts Award Nominations Due October 28th
Do You Know Someone Worthy of an Arts Award?
Barrie’s best will be recognized once again at the upcoming annual Barrie Arts Awards. Nominations are now open, and the City of Barrie is encouraging you to nominate that special artist from the community who deserves this recognition.
There are four categories for artists and one for businesses to be nominated in. New this year is the Business Award which recognizes a local business that has consistently and significantly supported the arts through either financial and/or in-kind means. This award may be granted to a business that has made a concerted effort to build capacity in the arts.
