Mousetrap Runs November 17, 18, 19, 20, 2011 ~ Wasaga Beach

Wasaga Community Theatre Presents ...
"Mousetrap"

It is one month till "Mousetrap" opens up at the RecPlex. The full show dates are November 17 - 19 at 8pm and November 20 at 2pm. Mousetrap is a classic murder mystery that leaves the audience guessing right until the end. All the characters are caught in a snowstorm at Monkswell Manor when someones life takes a horrific turn. Who is the murderer? That is the question on everyone's mind. Meet the cast all being led with the direction of Al Davidson: Jessica Drury - Mollie Rolston; Philip Hough - Giles Rolston; Steven Skinner - Christopher Wren; Brenda Sigouin - Mrs. Boyle; Brian Rosenkrands - Major Metcalf; Laura LaChapelle - Miss Casewell; Pat Drury - Mr. Paravicini and Brett Squires - Sergeant Trotter.

Wasaga Community Theatre Presents Grease



Over the next week you will see Wasaga Community Theatre members around the Georgian Triangle area promoting their upcoming production of Grease - the musical.

Tomorrow, Wednesday April 6th, from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., they be guest servers at Boston Pizza here in Wasaga Beach.  Come on down and join them for a fantastic meal and meet the cast members who are up for the challenge of not dropping any plates.  This is a fundraiser for their non-profit theatre group where a percentage of all sales will go back to the theatre toward future productions.

Monday April 11th, at 11:00 a.m., they will be featured on Rogers TV, during the program "Georgian Bay Life".  During that hour you will get a chance to hear from the Director and several cast members as they show off their dance moves.  Lets see if Choreographer Laura LaChapelle can get hosts Jennifer and Melanie doing the classic hand jive moves that we have all come to love with Grease.

Show dates are Thursday, April 14 through Saturday, April 16 at 8pm with a Sunday Matinee on April 17th at 2:00 p.m. at the Recplex (1724 Mosley Street) in Wasaga Beach.  Tickets are $18.00 per person or $15.00 per person for a group of 10 or more.  Ticket can be purchased at IDA (45th Street) and Major's Pharmacy (River Road West) and can also be purchased at the door.

The Wasaga Community Theatre Company is putting on their bobby socks, poodle skirts and going cruising in a T-bird to bring you this classic retro production.  They're searching for eager and passionate actors, singers and dancers to play this cast of teens and adults.
