Thomas Finn has been accepted to the
The American Academy Of Dramatic Arts
In New York City!
Unfortunately, because Thomas is from Canada, he is not eligible for the usual "student" funding via our educational grants system, nor are his efforts to obtain a student loan via our financial institutions being supportive to date.
Today, Thomas was notified that he has been denied funding, making the possibility of his being able to pursue this "accepted" training in his chosen profession in the arts headed toward impossible.
After fundraising endlessly since receiving the acceptance news, this young man has proven that he deserves the opportunity to take advantage of this professional formal training that he needs to further his career.
If this young man was pursuing a career in any other field, other than the arts, he would have already been accepted to receive student funding ~ this is not right, nor should we find this acceptable!

As I have yet to see such a sincerely motivated and extremely talented young adult work so hard in an attempt to raise funds to make his career choice dream a reality, I am reaching out on his behalf to ask for any and all assistance you can possibly extend to him.
